Reservation platforms

Q : Can I select the platforms that Hotel-Spider should connect me to and which it should not?

When you are entering your subscription, a list of available platforms is shown. You check the boxes of the platforms with which you wish to be connected.

Q : Can Hotel-Spider connect to a platform that is not in the list?

In that case you contact Tourisoft (info@tourisoft.com). On the basis of a feasibility study (technical, commercial, financial return), Tourisoft will take a decision whether to develop an interface with this platform.

Q : Does my existing contract with the reservation platform remain valid?

If you already have a contract with a platform, this remains valid. You transmit the access information to Tourisoft that is required to set up the connection.

Q : How is the legal relationship?

Before Tourisoft can activate the connection with a platform for you, you need to have a signed agreement with this platform. In case you do not know the organisation, Tourisoft can help you establish first contacts.

Q : Can I add a platform later on?

You can always add a platform later on. Simply contact the Support Team (support@hotel-spider.com) to request the connection.

Q : What should I do in case I no longer wish to use a platform?

If you no longer need a platform simply contact the Support Team (support@hotel-spider.com) to deactivate the connection.

Q : What are the platforms with which Hotel-Spider can connect?

The list of platforms with which Hotel-Spider can connect is regularly extended. The up-to-date version of this list can always be found on the web site www.hotel-spider.com. It is worthwhile to check this list from time to time.

Q : Can I enter different prices for the same product on different platforms?

The price you enter can be the same for every platform you use or be different per platform.

Q : Can I offer a product on certain platforms and not on others?

For each product you can determine on which platform you wish to offer it.

Q : Can I close the allotment for a product on certain platforms and not on others?

For each product you can determine for every day on which platforms you wish to offer the allotment.

Q : Why do I have to send my reservation platform access information to Tourisoft?

Each time Hotel-Spider sends information to one of the platforms, it has to identify itself. It does this with the information you have provided to Tourisoft, the creator of Hotel-Spider.

Q : Can Hotel-Spider also manage the reservations coming from my own hotel website?

Absolutely. Hotel-Spider manages these reservations just like all the others. They will be debited on the same allotment. Hotel-Spider supplies you with a URL that you can integrate in your website. When the visitor of your website clicks on the "Book now" button, he will go to a Hotel-Spider screen in which he can enter his reservation.

Q : What should I do to get connected to the GDS?

Hotel-Spider offers several possibilities to be connected to the GDS. Please contact the Support Team (support@hotel-spider.com) for more information.

Payment

Q : Can I test Hotel-Spider?

You can test Hotel-Spider during a whole month. Click on the Subscribe button, print the contract, fill out the information, sign and fax it to Hotel-Spider. During a whole month you can use Hotel-Spider free of charge. You will have your hotel connected to the reservation sites of your choice. If after that month you are convinced that the efficiency of managing your hotel increased because of Hotel-Spider and the number of incoming reservations has grown, you stay with us. If you are not convinced, you are free to leave us. You have no obligation whatsoever.

Q : Do the Hotel-Spider costs depend on the number of reservation platforms I am connected to?

We will calculate the monthly costs for you once you request an offer in our contact form on www.hotel-spider.com . Hotel-Spider does not charge a set-up fee. And the costs of the Help Desk (telephone and/or e-mail) are included in the tariff.

Property management system (PMS)

Q : Can Hotel-Spider also connect with my internal hotel management system (PMS)?

Many providers of property management systems (PMS) have developed an interface with Hotel-Spider. Once this interface is activated, you can continue to use your PMS that you know well, and let Hotel-Spider take care of the communication with the reservation sites of your choice. You will find a complete list of PMS that have an interface with Hotel-Spider on www.hotel-spider.com when you click on Distribution and select PMS.

Q : What must I do to connect my internal management system (PMS) to Hotel-Spider?

If you do not yet find your PMS system in the list of PMS systems with which Hotel-Spider can connect, we advise you to talk to the supplier of your PMS system and ask him to contact Tourisoft to obtain the documentation of the interface.

Q : What are the costs if I use the Hotel-Spider interface to connect my internal management system (PMS)?

The monthly costs for the use of the interface between your PMS and Hotel-Spider will be calculated once you request an offer in our contact form on www.hotel-spider.com.

WBE : web booking engine

Q : Does Hotel-Spider also offer a web booking engine (WBE)?

Spider-Booking, the Web Booking Engine, offered by Tourisoft, has a powerful functionality and enables the visitor to book in very few steps. You will find more information on Spider-Booking on www.hotel-spider.com when you click on Distribution and select WBE / Spider-Booking.

Q : Can Hotel-Spider also connect with my web booking engine (WBE)?

Many providers of web booking engines (WBE) have developed an interface with Hotel-Spider. Once this interface is activated, you can show your rooms on your hotel website, smartphones, Facebook where they are available for booking. Hotel-Spider is 100% based on internet technology. We send you the access codes and off you go!

Q : What are the minimum system requirements for the use of Hotel-Spider?

- Either a PC equipped with Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10. - or an Apple Macintosh equipped with Mac OS X - A recent browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome) - An Internet connection.
