In this second video ‘Ask your Hotel Techie,’ we will focus on system integration, why it is important, how it works and how a layperson can understand which data is being exchanged.
The more systems you use, the more important integrations are to ensure that the systems can communicate with each other. Without these networks, data silos and duplicates can be found on different platforms. To begin with, we’re going to give a small introduction to how interfaces are created and how they work. Then we will talk about the XML language, which is commonly used in the hospitality industry for system communication.
